Trombone

Romantic trombones

The company "Robert Piering" existed from 1882 to 1943 in Adorf/Vogtland. Robert Piering's father, Friedrich August Piering, founded a workshop in 1842.

Robert Piering first made a name for himself in 1882 with his invention "slide tube with stabilizer". The first feedback on it was certainly a good basis to become self-employed. He began to manufacture the first instruments under his name in the basement of his house. Due to the good sales of his instruments - mainly his trombones - the size of the rooms was no longer sufficient, so the construction of his workshop was started in 1897 and expanded a few years later.

Robert Piering also received recognition for his work and his constant search for improvements to his instruments through his honorary work on the Meisterprüfungsausschuss.

The Piering trombones are similar in sound and construction to the Kruspe trombones. For the following replicas we have the original models in best condition.
